SNOW HILL -- Sally Ormond, 69, died May 1 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church. Interment will be in St. Delight Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Ormond Jr. of the home; her mother, Sally Hagan of Snow Hill; a son, Allen Ormond of LaGrange; six daughters, Jeanette Ormond, Wilhelmina Ormond and Sirlina Ormond of Snow Hill, Ellen Blount of Kinston, Barbara Hagan of LaGrange and Debra Yancey of Snow Hill; and a sister, Mamie Bryant of Kinston.

A wake will be held tonight from 7 to 8 at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home.
