Reginald Dean Hicks, 51, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Goldsboro, died March 24, 2009, in Washington, D.C.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Plymouth Congregational Church. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Cheltenham Veteran's Cemetery in Maryland.
He was the son of the late Lula Mae Hicks.
Among his survivors is a daughter, Regina Hicks of Durham; his siblings, Pamela (Joseph) Johnson of Goldsboro, Sonya (Kenneth) Rowe of Raeford, Lisa Williams of Goldsboro, Melanie (Ben) Cox of Williamston, and Darrell "Pete" Hicks of Goldsboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Local arrangements are being handled by the McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
Other arrangements are being handled by Hunt Funeral Home in Washington, D.C.
