Erik and the Hrebenuyuk family want to thank the superb medical staff at Duke Medical Center, Wake Med Physical Therapy and Rex Hospital for their skills, their caring and their love. We also want to thank all our extended family members and friends, as well as Erik's special friends, who gave us so much and asked nothing in return. All of you will always be in our hearts and in our prayers.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seymourfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, the Hrebenuyuk family asks everyone to make a donation for osterosarcoma research with identification for Erik in care of Duke Pediatrics Hematology Oncology Clinic, 382 Hanes House, Box 102382, Durham, NC, 27710.
