Rosa Lee Toler Jinnette, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening at the Brian Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services were Saturday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home chapel, with Freddie Gooding officiating. Interment will be today at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Rosa Lee was born in Wayne County to the late Ransom Toler and Leona McFatter Toler.
She had worked as a secretary for Jinnette and Walton Motor Co. in Jacksonville, Fla., and, after moving to Goldsboro, she worked with Wayne County School System.
She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was a member of St. David's Episcopal Church in Florida. She ministered to the sick, provided meals-on-wheels and was involved with the altar guild and prayer chain. Rosa Lee was always willing to help with an opened hand for anyone.
Rosa Lee is survived by her husband, Jimmy Jinnette; her daughters, Shirley Maynard and husband, Roger, of Kentucky and Jenell Thomson of Florida; her sisters, Norma Williford and Barbara Murphy and husband, Craig, all of Goldsboro; her brothers, George Earl Toler of Florida, Ransom "Junior" Toler and wife, Shirley, of Goldsboro and Billy Ray Toler and wife, Joyce, of Princeton; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Geoffrey and Zachary Thomson; great-grandchildren, James Jr., Alan and Tommy Jordan "T.J." White; and two special sisters-in-law, who devoted many hours in extra care for Rosa Lee, Edna Mae Talton of Pikeville and Rose Whitfield of LaGrange.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, James White; sisters, Pearl McFatter and Nancy Cleo Cruse; and a brother, Melvin Toler.

The family received friends Saturday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times will be at 108 Livingston Drive (Falling Brook Estates) in Goldsboro.
The family would like to express a sincere appreciation to the staff of the Brian Center for taking care of Rosa for 61/2 years. Special thanks to all the family and friends that shared their time with Rosa Lee.
