Lisa was born in Phoenix, Ariz., July 26, 1960, to Faye Sauls Montague of Goldsboro and the late James Donald Montague.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Lisa was a beautiful person whose loving spirit and ever present smile radiated the joy she experienced in living every day of her life. She was deeply devoted to her family, and was happiest when she was spending time in family/friend gatherings or with the "light of her life," her granddaughter, Hayleigh.

Lisa was employed by the Wayne County Public Schools, and worked as a teacher's assistant at Northeast Elementary School, where she nourished and encouraged young children to be all they could be.

A service to remember the life of Lisa will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tommy Smith and the Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial will follow at sunset in Sauls Family Cemetery in Eureka.

In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her husband of 30 years, Gregg Wilson; her daughter, Hannah Wilson Cape and husband, Anthony, stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D.; her son, Josh Wilson of Greenville; and her granddaughter, Hayleigh Cape.

She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Yelverton and husband, Phil, of Eureka; her brothers, David Montague of Goldsboro and Jimmy Montague and wife, Sherry, of LaGrange; her sister-in-law, Kris Boberg and husband, Jeff, of Wilmington; and her nieces and nephew, Lizzie Yelverton, Alison Montague, Macy Montague, Mary Yelverton, Harper Boberg and Bella Boberg.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Montague Whitley; her paternal grandmother, Norma Moore; and her maternal grandparents, Lizzie and Preston Sauls.

The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
