DUDLEY -- Kathleen Williams Denton, 74, Dudley, went home to meet her Lord Sunday.

Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bailey Town Cemetery. The Rev. Gary "Bobby" Murrell will officiate.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service or at other times at 7009 Driver Road, Zebulon.

Kathleen is survived by two sons, Donald Denton and wife, Pam, of Middlesex and Chris Denton and wife, Amy, of Mount Olive; six grandchildren, Madison and Raelynne Denton, Michelle Bran, Scotty and Johnny Richardson and Brittany Pierce; three great-grandchildren, Brianna Pierce and Taylor and Austin Richardson; three sisters, Merita and husband, Paul Willoughby Jr., of Kenly, Gail Denton of Rocky Mount and Angie Anderson and husband, Charles, of Dudley; a brother, Millard and wife, Erma Williams, of Richmond, Va.; loving friend, Kaye Edwards; devoted pastor, Gary "Bobby" Murrell; and caregivers, Catrina Williams and Tammy Pass.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Denton; her parents, Vernon and Daisy Brantley Williams; a sister, Janice Boswell; and a brother, Alonza Williams.
