Saints topple South Central

DUDLEY -- Southern Wayne's Christina Lopez scored 18 points as the Saints improved to 7-0 in Class 3-A Eastern Carolina Conference play with a 60-42 win over South Central at home on Tuesday

Zakaya Jones added nine points for the Saints (14-1).

Mercedes Price and Laronda Leonard were applauded for good defensive play.

Southern Wayne continues ECC action on Friday at Charles B. Aycock.
