CBA's Walker in Shrine Game

PIKEVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock football standout Scott Walker has been selected to play in the 2004 Oasis Shrine East-West All-Star Football Game.The game is set for July 21 at Jamieson Stadium in Greensboro.

Walker, a 6-3, 235-pound offensive lineman, was second-team all-conference for the Falcons and was the offensive line MVP. Walker was a second team selection on the News-Argus All-Area teamm for 2003. In his junior year, Walker was an all-confeence homnorable mention.
He is the first Aycock football player to be honored with a Shrine Bowl invitation since 1982 and is only the fourth player in school history to be invited.
"I am excited and honored to play on the East team," Walker said. "I'm looking forward to making new friends and hoping it will help me on where I would like to go to college."
