Softball -- North Lenoir no-hits Spring Creek

LAGRANGE -- North Lenoir's Hermia Humphrey threw a no-hitter and hit as three-run home run as the Lady Hawks beat Spring Creek 7-0 Friday.

Humphrey did not allow a walk and struck out eight. She led the Lady Hawks on defense with a three-run home ruin in the third inning and had two hits, while Morgan Worthington slapped a double and Ashley Griffin picked up a hit.

North Lenoir, winners of five straight, will travel to East Duplin on Tuesday.
