Wayne Christian's Brooke Norris and Ashley Thompson had one hit each in the Lady Eagles 8-3 loss at home to Hobgood on Monday.

Brittany Sullivan had nine strikeouts in seven innings for Wayne Christian (0-1), who travels to Hobgood in Halifax County on Friday.
