Baseball -- Paylor one-hits North Lenoir

BEAULAVILLE -- East Duplin's Scott Paylor yielded one hit and one run in seven innings of work as the Panthers defeated North Lenoir 6-1 in non-conference action on Thursday.
The Hawks' lone-hit came from Donald Beal.
North Lenoir's Shane Harris picked up the loss in five innings of work.
Danny Blizzard paced the Panthers at the plate with a double and a grand slam home run in the sixth inning, capping a five-RBI performance.
North Lenoir looks to rebound at home today against Havelock at 4 p.m.
