Golf -- Gators win four-team meet

KINSTON -- Spring Creek's Stephen Warren fired an 82 as the Gators claimed a four-team meet at Falling Creek Country Club on Thursday.
Spring Creek finished with a team-score of 339, edging North Lenoir with 342. South Lenoir (355) and East Duplin (358) rounded out the team scores.
The Blue Devils' Austin Hardison took home medalist honors with a 77.
Brandon Payson and Pat Wilkins added 85's for Spring Creek (12-2-1), while Billy Hamm's 87 also figured in the team scoring.
North Lenoir was led by James Parker (81) and Spincer Hill (85).
The Gators host a Class 1-A Carolina Conference match on Monday at Walnut Creek Country Club.
