Baseball -- Havelock knocks off North Lenoir

HAVELOCK -- North Lenoir's Josh Williams had three hits in an 8-4 loss at Havelock on Friday.
The Hawks pulled to within two in the fifth on a grand slam home run by Andrew Manning, but Havelock rallied for two more in the sixth to pull away.
Havelock got two hits each from Derek Belcher Chad Spinner and Josh Titus.
North Lenoir's Dustin Bannister got the loss, while Shawn Noble went the distance for the Rams in picking up the win.
The Hawks (3-5) look to rebound on Tuesday at Richlands.
