Sarah Coleman and Virginia Best each collected a hat trick (three goals) as Wayne Country Day hammered Trinity Christian of Raleigh 8-1 in a non-conference contest Friday afternoon.
Christin Grubb and Louise Northington each added one goal and one assist. Best and Ann-Gordon Pelletier each contributed an assist.
Chargers goalkeeper Ellen Elmore picked up 15 saves.
Wayne Country Day (1-1) travels to Northwood Temple on Tuesday afternoon.
