Softball -- SC balanced in loss

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek had four players with two hits each, but fell 8-7 at home to Hobbton on Monday.
Sarah Barwick, Troia Morgan, Lindsey Benton and Sarah Whitfield all had two hits for the Gators, who return to action at home today against Rosewood.
Lorenda Brogden added a double and picked up the loss on the mound in seven innings of work.
Morgan had two hits as the Gators fell 10-4 at home on March 19 to Princeton.
The Gators defeated North Duplin 7-6 on March 18 paced by three hits each from Carrie Edwards, Lorenda Brogden and Morgan. Brogden picked up the complete-game win.
