Golf -- Rose medals for Eagles

GREENVILLE -- Clark Rose claimed medalist honors with a nine-hole round of 36 as Wayne Christian defeated Greenville Christian and Bethel Christian in a tri-meet Tuesday afternoon at Ironwood Country Club.
The Eagles amassed a team score of 162, compared to 210 for Greenville. Bethel took third with 263.
Jonathan Greene complemented Rose's effort with a 40. Chad Smith carded a 41, while Eric Williams contributed a 45. Matt Davis and Andrew Radford also participated in the meet.
Wayne Christian (6-0) travels to Fayetteville Christian on Thursday.
