Track -- Campbell leads EW boys

Chris Campbell grabbed a pair of first-place wins and helped Eastern Wayne slide past Jacksonville 80.5-65.5 in a non-conference boys track meet Tuesday afternoon at New Hope.
Campbell recorded a distance of 37 feet, 8 inches in the triple jump; and captured the 110 high hurdles in 16.81 seconds. He also finished second in the high jump (5-6).
T.D. Kornegay emerged first in the long jump (19-0).
Michael Lawerence claimed second in the 800 and 1,600 runs.
Eastern Wayne won the 400 and 800 relays.
