Softball -- Jags pull away from Rosewood

Farmville Central posted 10 runs in the third and fourth innings and pulled away with an 11-3 win at Rosewood on Wednesday.
The Eagles, who were out-hit 13-5, got one hit each from Courtney Hill, Lyndsey Cotten, Abigail Barrow and Bliss Parrish.
Rosewood scored a run in each of the first three innings, before the Jags' pulled away.
The Eagles (3-6, 1-2 Carolina 1-A) return to action on Thursday at home against Midway in non-conference action.
