Wayne Christian escapes Fayetteville's upset bid

FAYETTEVILLE -- Wayne Christian's undefeated golf team barely held onto that distinction Thursday as Fayetteville Christian missed upsetting the Eagles by a 167-168 score at Bayonet Country Club.
Jonathan Greene was low man for Wayne Christian with a nine-hole score of 38. Matt Davis was next with a 39, followed by Andrew Radford (44), Clark Rose (46), Chad Smith (49) and Eric Williams (53).
The Eagles (7-0, 1-0) will take on Cary Christian Tuesday on the road.
