Wayne Christian defeated Cresset Christian 12-8 in a non-conference action.
Brittany Sullivan was the winning pitcher, helping her cause with a triple and two singles. Brook Norris went 2-for-2 with a home run and Jesse Brannan had an extra base hit.
Wayne Christian (3-1, 2-0) will take on Cape Fear at home Monday.
