CLINTON -- Martha Godwin and Jenna Gudac combined for all seven goals in North Johnston's 7-0, non-conference victory Thursday evening at Clinton.
Godwin notched two goals in each half and finished the evening with a hat trick-plus-one (four goals). Gudac provided two first-half goals and recorded her hat trick with a goal two minutes into the second half.
"In four of our five wins this season, someone has scored a hat trick," first-year North Johnston coach Brent Walston said. "Jenna had a good night with three goals and three assists."
Godwin and Gudac have combined for 21 goals this season.
Allison Hinnant (one save) and Brandi Brinchek combined for the shutout in goal.
North Johnston (5-7) travels to Spring Creek next Monday.
