BETHEL -- Greene Central demolished Eastern Plains 2-A opponent North Pitt 12-1 Friday night in six innings.
Drew Sowers had a pair of doubles and 2 RBI. Tyler Chase batted 4-for-4 with a double and three RBI to pace Greene Central.
Josh Elmore went the distance for the win on the mound, striking out six.
Greene Central (6-6, 1-0 EPC) travels to North Lenoir next Tuesday.
