BETHEL -- North Pitt pitcher Tiffany Shaw struck out 10 to lead the Panthers to a 2-0 Eastern Plains 2-A victory against Greene Central on Friday.
The game was scoreless until the fifth when a pair of Panther runners trotted home.
Greene Central (2-6, 0-1 EPC) hosts two-time defending EPC champion North Lenoir next Tuesday. North Pitt travels to winless Tarboro on Tuesday.
