Golf -- GC wins EPC match

In a Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference match at Maccripine Country Club, Greene Central emerged with 317 team points and claimed first place.
The Rams (15-6, 12-3 EPC) were paced by a 76 by Colby Murphy and a 77 by Brandon Jones.
North Lenoir finished fourth with a 344 as James Parker and Spenser Hill each shot an 83.
South Lenoir's Austin Hardison claimed medalist honors with a 73.
The next EPC match will be today at Happy Valley.
