Baseball -- Rams get first EPC win

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central captured its first Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference baseball win of the season Tuesday, downing Tarboro 8-0.
The Rams (7-9, 1-3 EPC) got all they would need in the second, scoring twice. Joseph Wade walked and scored on Jared Williamson's double. Jamie Ham singled in Williamston.
Left-hander Travis Rouse picked up the win for Greene Central on the mound.
The Rams visit Charles B. Aycock tonight at 7 p.m.
