JV baseball -- GC pounds Tarboro

TARBORO -- Greene Central routed Tarboro 22-3 in a junior varsity baseball game Tuesday.
The Rams (8-8, 3-1 Eastern Plains) got the win from Josh Elmore in five innings of work, yielding no earned runs.
Lance Murray went 4-for-5 for Greene Central, hitting a home run and driving in five runs. Corey Skinner was 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI.
Greene Central plays host to Charles B. Aycock today in a non-conference game.
