JV baseball -- CBA claims road win

SNOW HILL -- Charles B. Aycock's Brandon Price allowed four hits through six innings on the mound and helped the Golden Falcons to a 5-2 non-conference win over Greene Central.
Aycock improved to 14-1 on the season and will take a 6-1 Class 3-A Eastern Carolina Conference record to Southern Wayne on Friday.
Cortez Gilbert, Chris King and Aaron Cline all had two hits for the Falcons with Gilbert and King delivering a double each.
Lance Murray had two hits for the Rams (8-9), while Tyler Chase drove in two runs with a double.
Aycock's Garrett Davis struck out the side in the seventh to pick up the save.
Corey Skinner got the loss for the Greene Central, who hosts South Lenoir on Friday.
