DUDLEY -- All nine Southern Wayne starters collected one hit each as the Saints defeated South Central 10-5 in Class 3-A Eastern Carolina Conference action on Tuesday.
Jeremy Hargrove (3-0) emerged the winner on the mound, yielding five hits in four innings. Hargrove helped his cause with a two-RBI single.
Preston Grantham added an RBI single for the Saints (12-5, 7-2 ECC).
T.J. Hinson added four shutout innings for relief work.
Southern Wayne hosts Charles B. Aycock on Friday.
