SNOW HILL -- Greene Central gained a 4-1 softball victory over North Pitt in a Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference game Tuesday.

The Rams padded a one-run lead with a three-run uprising in the fifth.

Amber Oakes singled and Morgan Albritton reached on an error. Both scored when Cassie Webb tripled. Webb came in on Elizabeth Cooper's hit.

Greene Central (4-14, 2-4 EPC) plays at conference-unbeaten North Lenoir on Friday.
