JV softball -- Aycock's Lancaster mows down Eagles

VANCEBORO -- Charles B. Aycock's Julia Lancaster struck out 16 hitters as the Lady Falcons beat West Craven 11-2 Friday.
Lancaster also went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double. Shelly Lancaster ripped a double and a triple in a 3-for-4 effort, while Brittany King was 2-for-4 and Rusti Talton was 2-for-5.
Aycock (11-0, 7-0) plays West Carteret at home on Tuesday.
