Softball -- Spring Creek loses to Jags

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek's Carrie Edwards provided a double in a 6-1 loss at home to Ayden-Grifton on Tuesday.
The Gators' Lorenda Brogden got the loss on the mound in seven innings of work as Spring Creek (2-18 overall) dropped to 2-9 in the Class 1-A Carolina Conference heading into a May 11 match-up at North Johnston.
Brogden added one hit for Spring Creek.
