JV baseball -- Rams roll past Tarboro

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central's Tyler Chase had three hits and two RBI for the Rams, who stormed past Tarboro 14-1 on Thursday at the James R. Fulghum Athletic Complex.
The win improved Greene Central (12-10) to 7-2 in the Eastern Plains 2-A Conference heading next Tuesday's regular-season finale at South Lenoir.
Dreyan Willis added two hits and an RBI, while Robert Tyndall had two hits, including a double.
Corey Skinner picked up the win in four innings of work, striking out four.
