SNOW HILL -- Greene Central's Matthew Tyndall slugged a three-run home run as the Rams concluded their season with an 8-1 win at home over South Lenoir on Tuesday.
Joseph Wade had two hits and two RBI for the Rams (10-13, 4-6 Class 2-A Eastern Plains Conference), while Travis Rouse also had two hits.
Jared Williamson picked up the win on the mound for Greene Central with Rouse and Jordy Davis proving effective in relief.
Brandon Rouse paced the Blue Devils with three hits. Josh Kennedy got the loss for South Lenoir.
