MOUNT OLIVE -- Wayne County's scheduled home game on Saturday night against Snow Hill was canceled early Saturday afternoon due to steady rain on an already mushy, Scarborough Field.
The game between Post 11 and Post 94 has been moved to Thursday. The two Area One East/South Division foes will meet again on Friday at the James "Rabbit" Fulghum Athletic Complex in Snow Hill.
Weather permitting, Wayne County returns to action tonight for a non-division game at home with Wilson County at 7 p.m. Snow Hill travels to Pitt County Post 39 at 7 p.m. tonight for a division game at Pitt Community College.
