Narron named PCL's pitcher of the week

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Former Eastern Wayne and East Carolina University standout Sam Narron was named the AAA Pacific Coast League pitcher of the week for the week of June 28-July 5.
Narron pitched the first complete game shutout of his career June 28 against Omaha for the Oklahoma RedHawks. Omaha managed only three hits against the right-hander.
Narron also earned the win July 3 against Memphis, allowing three runs in six innings. Narron is 5-0 in six starts as a RedHawk.
Oklahoma pitcher Nick Regilio won the award the previous week.
