Prep soccer -- Hawks claim road victory

KINSTON -- Four different players scored at least one goal as North Lenoir out-slugged Kinston 5-3 in a non-conference match Wednesday evening at Viking Stadium.
Cody Jenkins tallied a goal in each half for the Hawks, who improved to 2-0 overall.
Alex McGaughy (two assists), Mike Zeigler and Collin Rackley each contributed one goal. Teammates Josh Williams and Josh Baird each recorded an assist.
North Lenoir entertains Rosewood next Monday at 6 p.m.
