Prep volleyball -- Eagles top Flora MacDonald

RED SPRINGS -- Katie Daniels turned in a solid net game with two kills and four blocks as Wayne Christian swept Flora MacDonald Academy 25-19, 25-21, 25-22 in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon.
Michelle Krug provided two kills and four service aces. Melissa Sheldon contributed two aces and one kill.
Alicia Chong and Emily Reesman emerged the top servers with four aces apiece, while Ashley Clark contributed one ace.
Wayne Christian (1-1) entertains Community Christian of Wilson in a Carolina Christian 1-A Conference match Friday. Game time is approximately 5 p.m. at Clifford Gymnasium.
