Prep soccer -- NL tops Conley

GREENVILLE -- North Lenoir's Josh Williams and James Parker provided a goal and an assist each as the Hawks rolled past D.H. Conley 4-0 on Monday in Greenville.
After a scoreless first half, Josh Baird and Rickey Jarman added goals along with Williams and Parker. Colin Rackley and Kyle Taylor dished out assists for North Lenoir, who improved to 4-1 on the season.
Hawk goalie Douglas Beal provided a tough save on a Conley penalty kick and was credited with the shutout in goal.
North Lenoir returns to action on Sept. 8 at East Duplin.
