JV tennis -- EW sweeps S. Wayne

DUDLEY -- Eastern Wayne's Ashley Miller started the afternoon with a 8-1 win against Southern Wayne's Scarlet Price as the Warriors defeated the Saints 9-0 at Southern Wayne on Tuesday.
Morgan Pritchett, Nicole Fine, Sarah Carpenter, Hallie Hulse and Katie Brantley all picked up singles wins for the Warriors, who return to action on Thursday against Wayne Country Day.
The Warriors number one and three doubles tandems did not drop a game. Southern Wayne's number two team of Price and Ashley Azell played Carpenter and Fine tough before falling 8-5.
