James Kenan at Spring Creek, Wednesday, 7 p.m.
-- The Tigers are off to a solid start, and the Gators are ready to step up their game in what is usually a wide-open matchup.
Rosewood at North Johnston, Tuesday, 4:30 p.m.
-- An important early clash in the Carolina 1-A Conference as the upstart Eagles try to knock off the prerenially powerful Panthers.
Southern Wayne at Eastern Wayne, Tuesday, 5 p.m.
-- Two programs seeking to get untracked and make a move in the Eastern Carolina 3-A try and serve each other up.
North Lenoir at Greene Central, Thursday, 5 p.m.
-- Hawks look to take another Eastern Plains 2-A Conference titled, while the rival Rams look to play early spoiler.
C.B. Aycock at Greenfield, today, 4 p.m.
-- The Golden Falcons, still playing nomad while their courts are rebuilt, take on one of the better private school programs in the east.
Greene Central at Rocky Mount, today, 3:30 p.m.
-- The Rams take on another non-conference opponent with a bigger enrollment and a reputation for good tennis.
Eastern Wayne at West Carteret, Thursday, 4 p.m.
-- The young, hungry Warriors meet a tough Pam Pack club down on the Pamlico.
Eastern Carolina 3-A meet at South Central, today, 2 p.m.
-- Charles B. Aycock's Kelli Forbis leads her team's quest to unseat the reigning champs, Eastern Wayne.
Spring Creek at North Johnston, Wednesday, 3:30 p.m.
-- An important Carolina 1-A Conference head-to-head matchup as the Gators try and upend the Panthers at Cardinal Country Club.

Southern Wayne, Charles B. Aycock, Goldsboro at Eastern Wayne, Tuesday, 4 p.m.
-- A meet with all four county 3-A teams, including the first-ever appearance of Goldsboro's boys and girls cross-country teams.
Carolina 1-A meet at Spring Creek, Wednesday, 4 p.m.
-- Runners from Rosewood, Spring Creek, North Johnston, Princeton and North Duplin vie with Farmville Central to take early league supremacy.
