Two holes-in-one at GMCC

Joe Atkinson aced the par-3, 175-yard seventh hole using a four-iron at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course on Monday. The ace was Atkinson's third. Chuck Grant, James Newsome and Gene Kent witnessed the ace.
Also on Monday at Goldsboro Municipal, George Williams aced the 154-yard fourth hole, using a four-iron. Williams aced the same hole on June 8, 2003. Doug Baker, Phil Talerico and A.J. Herring witnessed the ace.
Lane Tree Ladies Golf
For the week ending Oct. 24, Jelette Culbreth won low net, while Betty Jean Gurley took game-of-the-week. Cathy Calhoun claimed low putts.
