MOC basketball games cancelled

MOUNT OLIVE -- Mount Olive's men's and women's basketball games at Limestone, scheduled for Saturday, have been postponed due to hazardous road conditions caused by a mix of snow and freezing rain in the central and western areas of North and South Carolina. A make-up date has not yet been announced.
Mount Olive resumes action Monday, weather and road conditions permitting, as the Trojans travel to Charlotte to take on Queens in a Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference basketball doubleheader. The women's game tips off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
All five CVAC men's and women's basketball doubleheaders scheduled for Saturday were postponed due to the weather.
