Scarboro scores 'Dawgs' lone touchdown

PRINCETON -- Decarius Scarboro rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown in Princeton's 21-9, non-conference loss Friday evening against North Moore at the Fred Bartholomew Athletic Complex.
Scarboro rambled for a 3-yard touchdown run in the final quarter.
Colin Parker provided the Bulldogs' first score, a 25-yard field goal in the first quarter.
North Moore led 13-3 at halftime.
Gerrell Bogle complemented Scarboro's effort with a 67-yard showing on nine carries. Johnny Phillips added 28 on six attempts for Princeton, which had 250 yards of total offense.
Quarterback Matthew Blackwell completed three passes for 40 yards. Patrick Gatewood caught one reception for 25 yards, while Daniel Gerrell accumulated 15 yards on two catches.
Princeton (0-2) travels to Union next Friday. The Spartans defeatedJones Senior 46-0 in their season opener Friday evening.
