National champs! - Goldsboro 3.0 Women seize title

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -- The Goldsboro Country Club women's 3.0 tennis team emerged the national champion with a 2-1 decision against Oswego (Ore.) on Sunday afternoon in the USTA League Tennis Senior National Championships play at the Riviera Resort and Racquet Club.
The team is captained by Sharon Crawford. Also on the team are Gloria Keesee, Betsy Harrold, Holly Steed, Beth Kannan, Sharon LaFevers, Bonnie Hunter and Sally Worrell.
