Williams leads Eagles

ERWIN -- Wayne Christian's Eric Williams scored 28 points and pulled down 12 rebounds as the Eagles suffered a 60-56 loss to Village Christian in the Carolina Christian 1-A Conference championship game on Saturday.
Williams finished the 21-game season with a double-double in every outing.
Brian Alexander added nine points and nine rebounds for the Eagles (14-7), while Colton Woods had six points.
Bredel Moody led Village with 18 points.
