Unbeaten Eagles pummel Norlina in CCC 1-A play

NORLINA -- The Wayne Christian softball team defeated Norlina 18-0 in a Carolina Christian 1-A Conference contest on Friday.
Brittany Sullivan had a two-hit shutout, striking out 10 batters in her second win of the season.
Traci Davis had three hits, including a home run and a double, for the Eagles. Brittany Sullivan and Reagan Hinton added three hits each for Wayne Christian, which had 17 hits overall.
The Eagles (4-0, 2-0 CCC) travel to Hobgood Academy today.
