K-Tribe players nab awards

Kinston Indians starting pitcher Chuck Lofgren was named the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week, and K-Tribe outfielder Ryan Goleski was named Hitter of the Week for the week of May 1 through May 7.
Lofgren went 2-0 this past week, with a 2.25 ERA.
Goleski went 7-for-16 this week (.438 batting average) and hit two home runs.
The Indians' game at Potomac on Monday night was canceled due to poor weather conditions. The two teams will play a pair of seven inning games today starting at 6:05 p.m.
