Tribe blanks Salem 9-0

SALEM, Va. -- The K-Tribe pitching staff did it again, throwing their league-leading fifth shutout of the season in a 9-0 triumph over Salem on Monday night.
Scott Lewis, Aaron Laffey and Kyle Collins combined for the six-hit shutout. Ryan Goleski continued his hot hitting, going 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs. Jordan Brown also had two RBIs and Wyatt Toregas went 3-for-4 with three RBIs.
The K-Tribe's record is now 31-12, the third best record in all of Minor League Baseball. Jensen Lewis will take the mound tomorrow for the K-Tribe in game two of the three game series.
