WINDSOR -- Snow Hill's Hunter Chase had three hits, including a double, in Post 94's 12-3 win at Ahoskie on Saturday night in their Area I East opener.
The win improves Snow Hill to 3-0 on the season and 1-0 in division play.
Blake Taylor, Drew Sowers and Craven Taylor had two hits each for Post 94. Sowers got the win in five innings of work on the mound.
Dustin Briggs had three hits for Ahoskie, while Lance Thomas endured the loss.
Snow Hill travels to Beaufort County on Tuesday.

Grantham 4, Wayne Co. Falcons 1 -- Jeremy Taylor tossed a no-hitter for Grantham (8-0) and struck out 10 in six innings of work. Keenan Winn, Jacob Sasser, Keith Jones and Taylor Brock had one hit each for Grantham. Allen Walker endured the loss for the Falcons.
