Snow Hill tops West Craven

SNOW HILL -- Snow Hill Post 94 evened its worksheet at 1-1 with a 2-1, nine-inning victory over West Craven in Junior American Legion play Tuesday evening on the James R. Fulghum Athletic Complex.
Will McLawhorn, Trey Beamon, Michael Speedy, Robert Tyndall, Chris Leggett and Alex Brann each collected one hit for Post 94.
Chris Nethercutt emerged the winning pitcher in relief and yielded two hits in a two-inning stint.
Chris Ipock led West Craven with two hits.
Snow Hill travels to South Central on Thursday.
